it first started before 2010 when I was in Guilty Gear mood and was searching for pictures by Google. I found one picture on site called DeviantArt where I was able to find any nice fanart. in that time I didnt think of joining the site cause I was too young. then in year 2010 I was thinking if I could join the site. I was 13 years old and liked to draw everyday. I had to first think of a name, some name I would have permanently. I came up with combining 5 names of my 5 most favourite characters from different games/series, and so - name SailorRaybloomDZ was born. then on 14th November I drew my first picture that would be uploaded on DA. surprisingly, I actually joined DA on 23rd November, the reason was because I was so unsure.

on day of joining I started to explore how does DA work, for Slovak with not good English in that time wasnt easy. I had to learn how to upload pictures, how to favourite things, how to reply on comments, almost everything. first months I was only loner uploading pictures every single day. I was having no problems, I was actually enjoying showing pictures what I drew and photos I took. then I think a month or 2 later I got my first favourites from other people. it actually made me overly happy someone found me. when I started to upload Rayman fanart, I received a first watcher. for me that was even bigger happiness. she right after that became a person I would always care about. I was young and kinda stupid, but I wanted to have some friends here, no matter what country they come from. I always appreciated people who watched me in that time.

later more people started to watch me, but it was always Rayman fans, rarely some people of other franchises I liked. rarely Touhou, American Mcgees Alice, none of Guilty Gear, Winx or Sailor Moon. in my opinion the reason for this was my artstyle - cute, sometimes cartoonish. I wanted to draw something between anime and cartoon cause I liked them both. this is also the reason why I often draw Rayman stuff, cause most of my watchers are familiar to it.

when I found out about Rayman Origins (without the help of DA) I was first angry cause of the behaviour of Rayman in there. but on DA somebody showed me the nymphs and different worlds in the game, that somehow made me like the game (even though its still not perfect for me). when we were talking about the birth of Rayman, (December 2011) I suddenly came up with the comic featuring some characters from RO, as well as from older games like Murfy, lums and even original Mr. Dark. month later I started to upload the pages. for me, this was only one comic without continuation, only introducing Raymans birth by my eyes. but when I finished uploading the comic, people suddenly wanted to see more. I was surprised and accepted the idea, after all I liked making comics since as a 5 year old child. and thats how I created my fan-made series (more informations about the creating ask-rcs.tumblr.com/post/890339…)

as a whole, DeviantArt is a part of my life and learning. I actually learnt here to draw like a decent artist, showed me what programs I can use for drawing, tips for it and most important, friends who taught me to not be shy and coward.
